The word millionaire has little or no meaning any longer. Even up to 40 years ago, if you had one million pounds sterling, you were considered to be very rich indeed, and millionaires were few and far between. As far as Ireland is concerned, a lot of people with a million pounds lived there,because it is such a beautiful country. These days possibly everyone knows some one who is a millionaire, if you add up the value of your house car savings accounts etc they will amount to something near to a million,especially if your currency is Euros! So I guess there are thousands upon thousands of millionaires in Ireland.

Don't know first question,but are you irish by any chance,to be a millionaire guess what....you need to have at least 1 million pounds, come on wake up.

I don't know how many millionaires there are, but not surprisingly, I think you'd need a million euros to become a millionaire!!!

I don't know exactly how many millionaires there are but it is defintiely in the tens if not hundreds of thousands. €1,000,000 here these days is a house and a pension.

I think there is 24 in Ireland and I believe you need £1000000 to be one.
