If you study in Hogwarts during the MARAUDERS era, what should you do to win the friendship from Marauders, Lily, and Snape? So that they trust you so much and even they’re even willing to die for you (like Sirius’d rather die than betray James and Lily)? Honestly, according to your OWN personality, temperament, and characteristic… what is your House at that time? Situation will be much more complicated if you’re not one of Gryffindors here!

My House is SLYTHERIN (That makes me in tough situation here!). I’m ambitious and willing to be glorious. I admire the Dark Arts and how we could (mis)use it to make things easier. Defense only is NOT enough! Charms, DADA, and Potions would be my favorite subject in Hogwarts!

I don’t really like James and Sirius that much. They look like young-rich-arrogant bastards with little respect toward anyone outside their circle (but inside their circle, they’re truly one of the best friends you could ever have. I admit that!) and severe prejudice towards the Slytherins.

Lupin and Lily are fine. They’re diligent and smart, and I can discuss my lessons and progress with them. I’ll show them that we, Slytherins are not ALL-evil. We could cooperate even with the Gryffindors if that’s necessary to fulfill our own agenda…. (wicked-smile! LOL!!)

Peter is pathetic. I wonder how come that James and Sirius could accept him as Marauders?!? But his weakness is his cowardness. I’ll make him do Unbreakable Vow to befriend me and never betray me… EVER!

Snape is the most difficult one. Although we both are Slytherins, he’s really aloof and closed. But I’d try to talk about Potions and Dark Arts with him. We had something similar in common here! Perhaps, I could ask him to meet my parent or take me to meet his mother Eileen Prince. I wish I could learn a lot about Potions and Dark Arts from these Gifted witch! I believe if I make some efforts here, I could team-up with Lily and Severus in the Hogwarts dungeon… making unbelievable, complicated, and all-new Potions all-night longs!

Anyway, how about you all then? What would be your House and what would you do in Marauders Era?

PS: I don’t hate James and Sirius. I just think I won’t hang out that much with them. Of course, I’d try to win their friendship also. Perhaps through Lily and Lupin. Their wealth and influence could be it-factor to achieve my goal. They could make an incredibly useful allies now and then!!

I would definitely feel that it would be worth the effort to win the trust and friendship of Lily, Snape and the Marauders if I were at Hogwarts with them. Since I too would be a Slytherin, I know that it would be a challenge though, as they certainly are suspicious of those in our House. I generally enjoy a good challenge, so the ever prevelant anti-Slytherin prejudice wouldn't deter my efforts. If anything, it would only increase my determination to overcome the negativity and achieve my goal.

James does allow his self confidence to appear as vanity and arrogance, which I'd not be impressed with. I'd probably laugh at it his little displays of playing with his stolen snitch or mussing his hair and use our common interest in sports to get to know him better. Sirius may be particualarly reluctant to trust me because of my placement in Slytherin, but I'd remind him that not all that are born into Slytherin families are Dark wizards (ie. Tonks, Andromeda, himself), and that he should give me a fair chance and judge me on my own merits. Lupin would be a great friend, as he is fair-minded, intelligent, and studious. We also know that he can keep a secret, which is an ability that I value. I'd have academics as a common interest with him, and would ask to be a study partner to break the ice. I'd have nothing but contempt for Peter though, who I'd regard as utterly pathetic- weak and without talent. I imagine that Lupin felt sorry for him, while James and Sirius enjoyed feeling superior to him and kept him around because he fawned all over them (the same reason that Draco tolerates Pansy's presence).

I'd want to befriend Lily because we have similar strengths and I think we'd get along very well. I'm also very independent and willing to stand up for who/what I believe in (whether that means against a friend or enemy). Unlike some Slytherins, I wouldn't hold her Muggle-born status against her at all, as I'd value her personality and talents much more than her blood status. We would share our interest in Potions as it would be one of my favorite subjects. I'd also appreciate her capacity to empathize with others and would hope that this quality would help her to understand my frustration at the prejudice Slytherins suffer.

Severus would be difficult to recruit as a friend. He is sensitive to being judged and ridiculed and prefers to isolate himself rather than risk being bullied. He could relate to the anti-Slytherin prejudice however, and that might make him more inclined to accept a genuine offer of friendship. I'd compliment him for his impressive talent at Potions and show him the respect that he deserves (and so badly craves). I'd confide my interest in learning the Dark Arts as well as Defense, and perhaps we could bond over our mutual interest in that subject. It would be a refreshing attitude, that I wouldn't regard him as evil for his knowledge of curses and hexes, but clever. I'd also insist that the Marauders acknowledge his talents and refrain from bullying him.

OMG JUST AS OBSESSED AS YOU HERE..... thats me. yes. i would probably go as far as sirius and james to win trust and friendship from those guys....really. who could ask for a better friend than those two? i have a really tough time deciding between slytherin and gryffindor.....i mean..... so gryffindor does kinda have the "golden glow" hanging above it...so double the reputation blow if ur caught screwing up, but then again, no1s gona think to blame u first....slytherin has the bad reputation, and well, i think better to have done what you're going to be punished for right? but on the other hand, i would be willing to go pretty far to save my friends, but my enemies...well, thats where the slytherin kicks in. WAY in. so i really am stuck here... i think i'll just be slythindor.....lol....but anyways i would SO be friends with the crew u mentioned....perhaps not snape tho...depends about him.....lol

I'd be a Ravenclaw, no doubt about that. I would probably enjoy Transfiguration and D.A.D.A the most. I don't think I would have to "do" anything to "win" the friendship of the Marauders or Lily, I would just be myself. I wouldn't want to be friends with Snape, he is just too much of an @sshole for my tastes.

I would be a Ravenclaw. I perfer cleverness. Not saying that these other quaties of the houses are bad, but in all of them over passion is a curse. Slytherin is to much towards glory, but what after you have your glory? Gryffindors have courage, but they have so much they would all die and there names will never be remebered. You know what i mean?

Harry Potter might want to probable have gone to Hogwarts and been a common individual- likely accepted, yet no longer fashionable. Adventures and misadventures might want to probably take position, merely as they do for everybody else- a bunch of magic childrens cooped up in a college is sure to create complications and exciting circumstances. Neville Longbottom's mum and dad might want to nevertheless be in St.Mungos', so he might want to stay consisting of his grandmother. the international might want to be ruled by Voldemort, merely because it truly is contained in the sixth e book. The Dursleys probable does no longer play into the tale very a lot in any respect, except for Petunia as Lily's hateful sister.Harry probable does no longer know them very a lot in any respect- I doubt Lily and James might want to deliver their son over to visit very many times. i assume James and Lily might want to nevertheless be married, and maximum suitable pals with the different Marauders. that they had probable nevertheless all hate Snape, although i'm getting the effect Lily somewhat tolerates him. The Order of the Phoenix might want to be on missions, attempting to end the shortcoming of existence Eaters, merely as contained in the fifth & sixth books. perhaps Lord Voldemort might want to have gone after Neville somewhat, or he might want to be attempting to kill Harry. exciting questions....
