its a thin membrane inside the vagina that gets broken on your firt sexual intercourse. all tho most of the time it has already broken naturally as u have grown. it is not painfull when broken but may bleed a little.
chances are it is already broken it is absolutly nothing to worrie about, the term pop ur cherry is just a saying and nothing that happens. hope this helps and hope u enjoy ur 1st time.

The hymen is a thin stretchy piece of tissue that is inside your vagina. It has a small hole in the middle which is why you can use tampons even if you are a virgin. WHen you have sex the penis (which is larger than a tampon) penetrates the vagina and it tears the piece of tissue thus breaking the hymen.

it's just a thin layer of skin...covering your hole until something is placed inside that tears it, and when it does it may cause you to bleed...some girls never don't have it.....
