Stockings vs Pantyhose?

I have finished college and starting a new job and I want to look very professional. I am trying to decide if I should wear stockings or panyhose to work. I am a little chubby and weraing a girdle does help me allot. IF I wear stockings I would perfer wearing a open bottom girdle, not pantyhose with the girdle. Any suggestions, Thanks, Barbara

For a professional look, try a pair of pantyhose that match your skin tone best. You could try one of the ones with a build in control top. They make pantyhose to suit all bodytypes. Hope this helps(-:

Stockings are always way better looking and in my opinion more comfortable. I wear them everyday to work with a garter belt, but I do have a girdle I wear with some suits, because it shows no lines, and it is handy at certain times when water retention and back ache are a problem, if you know what I mean. I am asuming you have a girdle with the garters attaches, to hook ontto the stockings. If not they have a lot of them at stockingstore.com

About half the girls in my office wear hold up thigh highs or stockings, and most of the older women wear pantyhose, but personally , I can't stand wearing pantyhose.

Unless you wear stay-up stockings you will need a garter belt. Which, when you sit down, the shape of the straps garter belt can be seen on your thighs. Best bet, pantyhose. Why won't you wear pantyhose w/the girdle? You can wear the open bottom girdle w/pantyhose. It's not too hot or confining and you can go to the bathroom w/o getting half undressed.

If you are a little chubby, try a girdle, with the hose. Stockings are cute, but not too much for the workplace. Try nude pantyhose. Or maybe get some opaque tights, that may be cute.

With an OBG you can get away with stockings, but you still have to mess with the garters getting dressed and when nature calls. But that would be easier that wearing a OBG and pantyhose.

I always thought pantyhose looked more professional. Stockings are what I always thought of little girls or old ladies wearing.

pantyhose. stockings are for little girls. get the sheer kind cuz it is so horrible to see a woman wearing pantyhose that look so fake. get something close to your skin too. never get black...i've always thought black was so ugly.
