I mean is it rare or is there still a good chance of getting pregnant. I know this is wide open question but if you can just give me your 2 cents that will be great (Egs of personal experience would help if you have any)
Thanks.

I mean either one of the three. Not all 3 at the same time.

I honestly find the statistics very odd for this. They say there is a very slim chance but that isn't always true. They don't factor in medications you are taking. The don't account for a woman being overweight, even if it is just a little overweight. They don't consider women's hormone levels either. They just give general number. I think they say 98% effective or so. I have two daughters who were conceived while I was on birth control. I had been using the patch for 5 months when I got pregnant with my oldest. I got pregnant with my youngest after I had been using the Nuva Ring for about a month and a half. There was also a pregnancy I had that resulted in miscarriage. My husband and I had been using condoms and a condom broke. This isn't for everyone though. For some women, birth control does wonders. For me however, it doesn't.

Its possible. The manufacturers of the pill even state that the pill is not 100% effective. Regardless of when you climax inside or not, there are sperm in preejaculate as well. Using condoms while using the pill increases your chances of avoiding pregnancy. With that said, the chances are slim if she takes the pill regularly as directed that it would fail. There are contraceptive backups (such as Plan B) if you're concerned. Make sure she takes it within 72 hours, the earlier the better. My husband and I conceived our first child on birth control. We were having issues getting pregnant before, and then I started taking the pill since we had moved far away from our families and didn't think it was the right time to be having kids. The hormones in the pill regulated my system somehow and we were able to get pregnant with the assistance of birth control. So, in short, women CAN get pregnant while using birth control pills, but the chances are low.

If you are using all three, just about zero.

Okay, if you are only using one, I would say a fairly good chance you could still get pregnant. I will also say, that the pill is your best chance of not getting pregnant if taken exactly as directed. I would also like to factor in that unless you are 100% sure of your partner, using a condom as well is a good idea........as in safe sex.

A tubal ligation is not 100%, but I was told by the doctor in the emergency room, that even though my boyfriend had a vasectomy and I had a tubal ligation, all it meant was that I was more prone to having a tubal pregnancy. I find it hard to believe that anyone can get pregnant if they've had a hysterectomy unless some botched the job. If you have no ovaries to manufacture eggs, what does the sperm penetrate? If you have no uterus, where does the baby grow?

Stranger than fiction.

there is all ways that chance , condoms brake , birthcontrol pills may not be a high enough dosesage or if your taking antibotics you can lessen the stranth of the pill and get pregnate that happend to me and did not know about it . i had no clue that can happen till i found out i was pregneant with my second child and at that time my firest one was only 3 mo. old it was ruff but they are now 11 and 10 and still act like they were twins most of there life LOL ... yes doctors cant be 100 % sure any thing will work so there are riskes with every thing so talk to your doc to see what works best for you and what can make the typ of birth control you want to use less afective so you can advoid them things or advoid sex at them times .... good luck and hope i have helped ya ...

Are you using all three at the same time? There is always room for error, no means is 100% foolproof. And I know plenty of people who have gotten pregnant on birthcontrol, or when using a condom. Tubes tied on either partner, I even have a friend who was born TWO years after his mother had a hysterectomy! So nothing is going to completely keep you from getting pregnant, that is unless you abstain, but then again, look at the Virgin Mary!

I was on Ortho Tri when I got pregnant with my first and I missed one pill after being on the pill for two years and got pregnant, I even took the missed pill first thing that next morning and got pregnant. I really think that the pill only helps alot when your not ovulating but when you are I think its like a 50/50 shot!

condoms can easily break, or be put on wrong, etc as for a diaphragm. birth control is deff not 100 % effective. id say if you use one of them about 33% chance of pregnancy stil occurring. godd luck.
