Zip codes in the US are grouped by state then city and area. It ranges from 00600 - 99950. To find a specific zip code you can go to www.usps.com and click on find a zip code and it will give you zip codes in a particular area.

The U.S.A has multiple ZIP codes, several in each state. I am in South Carolina, for example, and we have something like 33 ZIP codes. Which part of the U.S.A. do you need a ZIP code for?

Zip codes in the US, like post codes in the UK, are highly specific. You need at LEAST the city, preferably the street address as well.

There are many zip codes, there isn't just one specific one. There are many in each state, too.

Depends on where your are, the u.s. has many different zipcoed, there's a different zipcodes for each individual city in a state.
