I am a conservative and I say it was WRONG to attack a country that posed no threat WHATSOEVER to the USA. There, how was that? I NEVER supported the invasion of Iraq and during the first week of the invasion I urged some people to protest against it.
Now that we have waded in there and thrown the place into anarchy, however, shouldn't we see the policy through and try to achieve the best possible outcome? If we pull out chanting "Bush lied, people died," many people will feel justified, but when Muqtada al Sadr takes over Iraq won't we end up with still more problems on our hands?

There was unanimous evidence from the CIA and the British Intelligence Agency to show that Saddam had WMD's, and Saddam's number 2 man-Georges Sada-testified that Saddam moved them to Syria.
However, there was also unanimous evidence from people like that Washington Post writer to show that Saddam didn't have WMD's anymore, and that we shouldn't invade Iraq as a result.
EVERYBODY decided to believe the CIA and the British Intelligence Agency, and as it has turned out, we were ALL WRONG!!
Mr. Humanist, you say that your about "the truth always," so get your basic history right! CONSERVATIVES WEREN'T THE ONLY ONES WHO WERE WRONG LIKE YOU CLAIM THEY WERE!! John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, and a legion of other liberals believed what the CIA and the British Intelligence Agency claimed to discover! The only person-conservative or liberal-who DIDN'T believe them was Maureen Dowd, and she turned out to be right!
Who are you to call us conservatives "dishonest"? WE WERE ALL WRONG ABOUT IRAQ HAVING WMD'S!!!
But then again, Anti-Americans like you don't know what "fact" means anyway! So I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt!

The Republican Party and the Democrat Party are both run by AIPAC. I think the country you are referring to is Iraq. You are correct it was no threat to the USA, however it was a threat to Israel. That is why American men and women are being killed right now. It is just wrong.

"How many HONEST Cons are here on YA?"
Ive seen perhaps...a dozen honest posts written by Conservatives in the last 3 or 4 months, and another 30 that seemed to aspire to something like honesty, regardless of how successful they were in that.
But on a day to day basis? It's pretty much a steady stream of propaganda, parroted language from Conservative shrunken heads (like Hannity, Limbaugh, etc), dime store jingoisms... alot of hate language, racist diatribes, etc.
So, how many honest Conservatives are there on here? There may be lots, but they don't post. :)

I don't think they're all dishonest.
I do think most of them are misguided.
And, if their "President" can't admit to his legions of mistakes, I doubt they will.
Limbaugh and Hannity are beneath contempt.
Oh, and "Tabs", I guess you mean the way that the Republicans are so hung up about gays? I only mention Hannity and Limbaugh because they are germane to the discussion, as they trade only in lies and half-truths and have been 100% behind Bush in his fool's errand in Iraq.

It is not wrong to free people from the rule of a brutal dictator. If research was done many would see that this goes back to a previous administration with the fact that the corrupt UN could not enforce rules. It has nothing with talk radio but facts.

Because that is not how it all went down! Part of our reason for going into that country was to help the oppressed Iraqii people gain freedom (like you enjoy here!). Do you not think every human being has the right to freedom? Do you not think every human being has the right to a life w/o a dictator? If you answered YES to either question, that makes your question moot, does it not?

They exist, but after you strip away the ones who believe hate radio lies (repeating lies is still lying) there are very few, and they aren't the ones who normally ask questions or answer on YA.

Because we of America are Brainwashed by all media to say what they (Gov.) Want to hear. I don't think anyone can think on their own without someone holding their hand. This is just a Majority. Not all of America is like this, just most.
