Try this, the next time she shouts shout back and keep shouting, shout when u come home from work, shout when u walk pass her, shout when u talk to her on the phone, shout in the morning as ur getting dressed shout when u sit and watch t.v. shout when she's on the phone talking to her friends or whomever.

When u kiss her good morning or night shout. Keeping doing this until she ask why are u shouting, then say "Oh does that bother u or was I shouting I didn't realize I was shouting( as ur shouting this)

Then say to her in a shouting voice this is how u talk to so I figure either u have a hearing problem or this is the way u want me to talk to you.

Then ask her why do she need to shout all the time? unless she's having a problem hearing then u need to take her in to have her check for hearing loss.Because all this yelling is bother u and it has to stop.

Good Luck

Maybe if you'd listen once in awhile? lol - probably you've gotten into the habit, whether intentionally or not, of tuning her out much of the time. That can be more than a bit cruel, and for her to react by shouting at you - well, be happy she doesn't choose to emphasize her point with a frying pan upside your head!
Communications and money - those are the two leading causes of marital discord, and also two of the hardest topics to discuss calmly and rationally. Sometimes all it takes is for both parties to reaffirm that the other really matters very much and for each to make a real effort to treat the other better. Sometimes it can take the assistance of a trained counselor to help sort things out - it should not require numerous sessions nor a large expenditure of money to consult a marriage counselor, nor should it be a thing you reject out of manly pride. She matters to ya, right dude? So give it a bit more of an effort...I suspect you'll both appreciate the results.

She sounds like something is bothering her, just caulmly ask her to please not shout, it makes you upset, it could also be that maybe she is going through medopaus and needs to get a physical from the Dr. to confime this. This is a difficult time as she probably doesn't mean it and hormones as this stage could be triggering the whole thing. Take her out to dinner and make her feel good and enjoy each other, when was the last time you did something romantic together. Take care Heather

You don't say if the shouting is acute or chronic. Perhaps she simply feels you ignore her otherwise... OR it is possible she has a hearing loss and is merely compensating. Only you know the whole truth. If this exact thing happened to me I'd call the doc and set an appointment to test her hearing.

Sounds like she has anger issues pal. Try asking her if you are doing something that annoys her. If not - it's possible that she could have an inner ear problem that she isn't aware of. Don't send her to the doctor - go with her and show her your support.

Just tell her to stop shouting at you and tell her your not deaf. There must be a reason why she's shouting at you. Asked her.

Has she always done this? Or is it something new? If it's something that she has always done..well, you should have said something before now. If it's something that is more recent then I would just talk to her about it. Tell her she is yelling. Maybe she doesn't realize she is. Maybe she needs her ears flushed...who knows. Just discuss it in a calm non accusatory manner.

Well maybe that's the only way she knows for sure your listening. Maybe if you pay more attention to what she wants and says she might not yell so much.
