The only big beastie in my shoe is me. I wear size 14 and I'm under 6 foot tall.....what a jip!

Not a big beastie...a little one that can sing. I always shake my shoes a bit a turn them upside down so anything inside can crawl out.

my shoes are always on my feet if im outside.. most of the time.. and when theyre not, my shoes arent THAT big so they couldnt hold a "big beastie" anyway

I've worked at camps for the last 6 years. I learned pretty quickly to shake out my shoes before I put them on. In fact, once I caught myself doing it, out of habit, to my flipflops.

I keep my shoes in the garage and I occasionally have the thought that I'm going to stuff my foot into a lizards temporary home. It's very disturbing considering I hate lizards.

When I was in Iraq I was in the habit of shaking out my boots in case a scorpion climbed in. I found a few too.
