I know water is the way to go but every once in a while i need a good soda pop to calm my nausea--also I have found a lot of caffeine free teas but the artificial sweetners are just as bad...is there anything out there with NO CAFFEINE or ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS???

Any kind of natural fruit juice is good. Orange juice is great and apple juice really helps keep things moving. I'm not sure if splenda is safe but if so that's a good one to go with, you should ask a doctor about artificial sweetners first.

Why not just use sugar or honey in the tea? A teaspoon of sugar only has 15 calories. There're lots of nice herbal teas that make good iced tea that're pregnancy-safe.

A dash of some sort of flavouring in soda water is good. Grenadine syrup plus soda water equals cream soda, and you can use a lot less grenadine for that than you might think...

Flavoured water's not bad. Throw some cucumber, lime, and melon in a pitcher of water; let 'steep,' add ice...

And caffeine's not as bad as all that:

"Reducing caffeine consumption during pregnancy from three cups of coffee a day to one has no effect on the baby’s birth weight, Danish researchers report..."

I have heard of many people that mix juice with club soda... that way you still get your fizzy/sweet fix - I know that it is a diet trick when it is hard to stop drinking sodas... so I would assume it is low calorie... but I have never tried it personally

Or what if you just had part (half?) of a (regular) caffine free coke every once in a blue moon?

Propel is a great source of replenishment during pregnancy. It contains a sugar based sweetener that has (so far) been researched to not be harmful. I drank it throughout my pregnancy and now i have a beautiful baby boy. Rootbeer, watered down juice (like JuicyJuice), and lemon water are also good.
