Absolutely! Equus is a classic and highly regarded. Serious actors will admire him for it I think it's a really good move for him and can only do his career the world of good. He wants to be taken seriously and shake the hary potter image - he has done that in bucket loads. Good luck to him!

He is fortunate to be getting into serious acting roles so soon after the Harry Potter movies. So many child actors grow up and are never seen again because they are not taken seriously as actors.
I think the play will be good for him and his future acting career. It shows him in a different light and allows him to work "outside the box" of being a child actor.

Yes, it's a wonderful career move. So many 'child' actors get stereotyped because directors and casting agents are unable to see them as anything but children, even long after they've grown up. By doing such an 'adult' role in a notable play presented in one of London's West End theaters, it is assured he will not suffer the same fate.

A lot of people have already bought tickets for obvious reasons. Ha ha ha. I think this is a good way for him to break out of his Harry Potter image. The play is well-written, interesting, and it is bound to be successful.
