Why am I no longer able to access Mahjong Solitaire?

I am able to reach a certain point in the process but then the applet fails to load and the alternative to the failed applet fails to load as well.

It happened with me too....I reinstalled Java Rutime Environment for windows and it became OK. You can download JRE from:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
