i plan to buy an sony ericsson phone. k800i since it is not availing in bangalore i plan to buy sony k7910i . my frnds told sony phones have bad battery power. so i thought to buy nokia N73. so post ur opinion for me as sony or nokia.. or give some address in bangalore to get sony k800i

Go for nokia and n series is the best. If u want to use your mobile for internet then only nokia coz sony fall flat here. Most of internet software and applications are only designed for nokia. In fact I am answering ur question from sony phone, but the internet experience is worst. Sony low battery life is myth. NOKIA N series music editions now available. Many sony phones screen size is worst for internet surfing. Though I am a sony customer I shall advice u to go for nokia n series.

Sony may be a good company but when it comes to mobile phones, Nokia seems to be having specialisation. I have seen many Nokia phones and some Sony Ericson phones and I observed that in terms of user-friendliness, quality of sound and quality of picture, Nokia fares well. Regarding battery power, I do not know about Sony's but that of Nokia is OK.
