of course I think so
but not only that
it has corrupted the way ordinary people in this world view themselves...... they are not rich enough, thin enough, pretty enough or handsome as the case may be...they want what the celebrities have.... and the celebrities flaunt their lifestyles and their lack of conscience ....like spoiled children... and always have someone there to clean up their messes
Young people especially have this twisted idea that what goes on in the movies and what goes on in the HOLLYWOOD LIFE is real... the clothes... the parties.. the THINGS....
We have come to a situation where it is ALL ABOUT THE THINGS ... not about the people... just about having things...
IT IS A VERY SELFISH ERA WE ARE IN.. there are few morals in Hollywood

I think for most, money and fame can bring negatativity to one's life after the novelty has worn off. Imagine never being able to walk down the road or having your picture splashed all over the papers and mags cos you had a spot or your double shin was on show!. I think that these stars are surrounded by yes people all the time and lose sense of what is real and not, this causes them to be sensitive to critisism and even the slightest thing can send them into a depression, drugs etc. It is nice to have money but everyone needs a sense of purpose in life, balanced people and real friends around you. History has shown that Hollywood is not a good place for children - look at Judy Garland and her offspring.

Yes totally. But only if they let it take over them. The actors who don't let Hollywood get to their heads are the true actors and actresses who set an example for the world. The "wild" actors/actresses are not doing anything for the community other than doing drugs and patying all hours of the night. It's not always bad to put your child into Hollywood, but make sure that they stay true to their values and don't let anything corrupt them or steer them in the wrong direction.

Yes. I think so because lots of teenagers and kids in hollywood eventually get involved with drugs and other unhealthy things. It is very likely that it will happen if a child is placed in a Hollywood lifestyle, so why even take the risk??

it is a horrible place to be- imagine being watched ALL the time? It would drive most of us nuts! I think privacy is the greatest luxury, yet so many of us take it for granted! We don't realize how nice it is, it's WAY better than money! Hollywood and fame corrupts many but not all- some stars have been able to hold their own and do good things with their money- while others just seem to lose their minds- but i think it had corrupted society too- we all want to be stars, dress like them, live like them, watch tv about them- it's ridiculous. It is really OUR fault becuase WE put them on the pedestal that they eventually fall off of

Hollywood corrupts everything. Its controlled by power and money. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and the love of money is the root of all evil.
The younger you are when you are exposed to these excesses, the worse off you are. Hollywood can argue, as can video game creators that their product doesn't influence the behavior of children one way or the other, but could someone please explain to me, why the prevalence of drugs and violence and indifference to both has escalated so much in the past 20 years? Its really scary.

Obviously...
it is an unstable, fast moving and very 'grown-up' way of life...
Alcohol and drugs become part of the lifestyle... and vast amounts of money make it all too easy to get drawn into these kind of problems...
...i'm not saying that all of 'young hollywood' are out of control, but nobody can argue that a huge majority are.

Yes, it's very true. They try to seduce them by saying them that thay will be famous, all the magazines will write for them etc.
For example if a tennager girl sees in a cover of a magazine a very beautiful girl, with a great body, great skin, hair etc....... she will want o be like her, that's why teenagers keep diets and be anorexis and do plastic surgery.
That's fake and it's all a publicity! And it's not even a real world!

Yes. Too much too fast for many young people in Hollywood to cope with. IMHO, most people aren't truly emotionally mature these days until age 30.
