if you have a movie without subs and you have subs for the movie separatly how do you add them together?

i can`t press subtitle button on remote the movie is in my pc

no it is not dvd i downloaded it .and movie is in japanese and there is a folder with subs separatly from movie

Is this a movie on a DVD? If so then the software that runs the DVD should be able to bring up the subtitles. If it is from another source I have no idea.
I know I can get subtitles up on DVDs on my mac very easily. (and when I forget how my 8 year-old tells me how to do it lol)

Usually there's a Set Up or languages feature on the menu of a dvd, so go into there and there should be a choice to turn on the subtitles.

press sub-t on your remote..then choose
