Even though Evanescence isn't my kind of band, they're pretty innocent. If you're worried, don't be. Eventually the kids will grow out of it. My brother did.

Why not? The singer has an amazing voice and the songs are well-written. Also the band plays their own instruments. I think they're a good way of getting kids into music - listining, singing and playing. I'm pretty sure they don't swear either if that's what you're worried about. And, hey, it's better than kids listening to rap or watching slutty, manufactured pop-tarts dancing around half-naked whilst miming to some song someone else wrote that they barely understand. At least Evanescence have a passion for music and aren't just glorified pornstars who are only in the music business for the money.

Yeah! Sure. Evanescence is a great band and their songs tell a lot about real life and what people encounter and how to overcome obstacles. They're a great group and they're suitable for all ages.

Kids are gonna listen to what they want and will always find a way whether they are allowed to or not.I personally can't stand them but I'm not gonna stop anyone from listening to them. There are far more worse bands out there

I don't think that band is appropiate for kids that are below 10 years old but otherwise I don't see whats wrong with the band

There is never any swearing or suggestive language in Evanscence's music, but I think that some of the dark subject matter in their music could be frightening to children.

Why shouldn't they. People need to stop blaming music just because they did stupid actions. It's not the music maybe it's your kids.
