This can be a "stage antic" or the way you play the guitar. Yesterday I saw a guy flick the pickup selector switch in rhythm and change chords to that rhythm - I hadn't seen that before - it was cool. What are some of your favorite "tricks" that you do or have seen others do?

Many great tricks have been used throughout rock-history. One I often use when I play live, and which was first penned by Alvin Lee of Ten Years After, is tap a drumstick to the strings to play solos. It's much easier than it sounds and it looks so badass.

I like to do the Steve Vai / Dimebag trick by flicking the G-string and dumping the whammy bar, then catching a harmonic on the way back up for a squeal. Also, I oike to do a one handed tapping riff, then switch hands on the taps, leaving my left hand free, and go drink a beer! Fun.

My favorite is the duck-step, created by Chuck Berry and used by Angus Young. The windmill that Pete Townshend does is great too
