You should definitely visit Belgrade as Serbian capital and Novi Sad which is a really beautiful city. Belgrade is fast paced city, you will find there many museums and historic monuments, while Novi Sad is more quiet and romantic. If you have time, you should also visit a typical Serbian village in Sumadija (Sumadija is a hilly region south of Belgrade) or maybe Avala (Avala is a mountain near Belgrade and when you climb it, you can see Belgrade from it). also, you should visit monasteries that are mostly in the south of the country as well as northern cities close to Hungary (such as Subotica)
