I was due for my period on friday and most months i am late so not normally a big deal for me but this month as well as getting cramps (cramps not as bad as most months-had no cramping today) i have been getting sharp pains every now and then on right hand side like i'm going to ovulate again. I have never experienced this before. I have taken preg test yesterday morning, which was negative so don't think i am preg. So is it possible that i am ovulating twice this month? Have been ttc for a year

Who knows - us ladies get so many cramps and twinges throughout the month - it drives me crazy!. Keep a diary of things like this - if it continues go to your Doctor with this information. As you have been trying for a baby for a year, you are probably very aware of every little twinge you get, whereas if you weren't trying, it would probably go unnoticed. Try and relax, I am sure everything is OK - maybe you are due on anyday and the right hand twinge was not related. Any worries, please see your Dr though - do they know that you have been ttc for a year?

you do no longer ovulate two times... what happens is that your physique will kit as much as O (fertile CM, O discomfort, valuable OPK) and then no longer launch the egg. a number of of issues can intervene with the ovulation technique.... ailment, vacationing, sleep deprivation, tension, being emotional. while ovulation is interrupted, the physique will often attempt lower back in some days. feels like that's what's occurring. evaluate your self fertile and characteristic intercourse generally till your warning signs are long gone. stable success. EDIT--once you launch 2 eggs (FRATERNAL twins) they're launched interior 24 hours of one yet another and it remains seen ONE ovulation. additionally, comparable twins come from ONE egg that splits into 2, no longer 2 different eggs.

You usually start ovulating on the 14th day after the 1st day of your period. Ovulation usually only lasts 24 hours. I doubt that you can twice, you may want to call the gyno and ask.

sometimes i get cramps 2x a month....when i get my period and when i ovulate...so it could be normal. if your not pregnant (if your recently pregnant then a test may not show it), then it could be cysts so see a dr. if the pain continues. cysts are very common but sometimes you'll have to get the removed.

Yes you can. I recently watched a programme on multiple births where one woman was having twins and they were both conceived on different days by two separate eggs.
