I guess being a colts fan and being from indy, I dont get it. He seems like a good guy, he works hard. I could see if you say hes in to many commercials that may make sense. But they are funny commercials. Also wonder what team you like if you hate peyton, are you all Pats fans?

I am not a Colt fan. I do not hate Mr. Manning. I don't know if he is a good person or not. As a football fan, I rate Mr. Manning as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. I do not support the notion that he deserved to win the championship. Football is a team game that requires the efforts of a whole team to be successful. I think Mr. Manning might agree with this. Winning the championship is a combination of individual skill, team work, errors both by the team and its opponents and some degree of luck. I find the commercials entertaining. I am not a Patriot fan.
I would be happy to have Mr. Manning on my favorite team.

I've been a lifelong Colts fan, and I think Peyton Manning has been great, the best the Colts have had since Unitas. It's nice that the Manning critics have been silenced for a change.
The comparisons between him and Marino were pretty good though. Count me as one of those that got some strange bit of delight every time Miami got eliminated in the playoffs and teasing the Dolphin fans I knew about Marino. I guess what goes around comes around.

People dont hate Manning. People just dont like that everyone acts like he is the best thing since sliced bread. They think Colts fans give him to much credit. Most of them on Yahoo answers are Pats fans. I am not a Colt or a Pats fan but alot of Colts fans act like Tom Brady is a second rate QB now that Manning has a ring, so I can imagine they dont like the disrespect. And of course some of them are just Jack Butts.

I honestly couldn't tell you. I think that most people don't like him just because he's in too many commercials as you mentioned. I used to not like Peyton Manning very much either, but now that he has finally won a Super Bowl, I don't mind him very much. I still think that he isn't as good as Tom Brady. He still needs two more rings. On the other hand, If people think he was on a lot of commercials before, now that he finally won a Super Bowl, just wait.

I'm a Bears fans, but I think people hate Peyton for the same reason they hate Tom Brady. He's just good plain and simple. He's an assassin on the football field. You hate him if he isn't on your team, but you wish he was. It's the same feeling Brett Favre used to give ppl and what T.B. does every weekend. Those are the type of guys that can win a game on their own. I just think Peyton gets a bigger knock because he's the only one of them that is surrounded by weapons.

There is just something that makes him annoying. I guess you have to be a colt fan, which i'm NOT. The colts are 31 on my list. Of couse I hate the eagles more. I'm a patriot fan.
Brady is cool and good.
Peyton is annoying and good.
Beside look who brady has. He has no receivers and he took them to the AFC championship.Troy is old and caldwell just sucks. They just have maroney
The colts have addai, harrison, wayne, clark, and rhodes on top of manning.

People who hate Peyton Manning just hate him because he's so good. In the AFC I favor the Pats but I don't have anything against Peyton.

People are always saying that athletes should be examples for our children. Peyton has been just that--a good example of a decent, honest human being--and they still aren't satisfied. He MUST have flaws!!

I do... Peyton cares to much about himself. He should take a page out of Brady's book and not do commercials without those who help him get to where he is. IE his O line...

I wasn't aware that people hated Peyton Manning. I've never spoken to anyone that hated him. I have tons of respect for the guy. I hate Eli Manning though. Eli is possibly the biggest ***** in the NFL.
