To me I think beauty is unique, everyone is beautiful they way they are. Ugly is just a word to express that you dont like the picture you are seeing beauty is the opposite. So can ugly be beatiful as well?. we judge by pictures we see through our eyes, without the eyes there would be no beautiful and ugly?

Why do I want to be beautiful?
I am. But I want to "feel" that I am beautiful. That is different. Why? Because I was raised up believe that I must always conform to what others (society) would expect me to be. If I can't meet their expectations, I am doomed. Many children lives in fear. They grew up in silence while trying to wrestle these pressures. I am one of those children.
When I met the woman I loved, she made me feel beautiful. Its because I need not pretend to be someone else or to be the best as what others would think I should be. She loved me for what I am. It's only then that I began to see myself. Yes, I am not ugly. I am beautiful... and no one would love someone who is ugly... so I must be beautiful... and yes, because she said so. And I believe.

We all judge people by the way they look first - then when we get to know them we either see more beauty or less depending on the person. Did you ever see the movie "Elephant Man" it was a true story about John Merick (spelling?) He was truly a beautiful ugly man. I use to think Mickey Rourk(sp?-sorry) was a handsome ugly man until he had plastic surgery now I think he looks plastic. I think true physical beauty, even though you can make a lot of money being sooo beautiful - I think it would be a curse - it's complicated.

Every person has a beautiful part of them, some are more visual than others.
I believe 'ugly' is only an expression of the inner self of the person doing the perceiving at that very time. It may not be at another time.
Why we judge is really the question isn't it??

We all are beautiful. Our uniqueness makes us that way. The only ugliness in this world comes from people who see in themselves what they consider to be flaws and in order for them to feel better about themselves they point out the differences in other people in a negative way. Beautiful people feel beautiful and they want everyone else to feel beautiful. Beautiful people allow love for all to rule their lives.

Because, I am who I am the Beholder; Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. I am the Beholder of my beauty and my heart is good. My mind is on the Beholder and my beauty shines threw. No one can see what you see if you look beyond the picture that your eyes see. The eyes and mind can play tricks on you. See with your heart and no one can touch what you see. ah, some people are pretty and some are not. some times you have better chances when you look good. i dont believe that everybody is beautiful in the way they are, but we can say some of them are strong to go on and dont mind about how do they look like.

a person can be ugly when they talk ugly to you. ugly is and is not a look it is the why we perceive some thing .as for me being beautiful ? sure i wood like to look my best and that is as beautiful as it gets .

TO increase my self esteem...It is a feeling a perception regradless of the physical aspects...beauty is in the eyes of the beholder..

Beauty is comparision. We can see it as a dependable variable as well as 'ugly'. My contrary argument for your statement is that there always another object to be attached.
