I read ' off topic ' questions all the time here. Don't know what ' P&S is that you noted in your question.
Some ' off topic ' questions I do feel should remain ' off topic. If a person chooses to delve in certain other topics...there are so many other sites for that.
I.E. If I go into a quaint coffee shop there are certain conversations / visuals I expect not to hear or see. There are places for ' those type ' of conversations / visuals that someone can to go . . . and they are places I personally would never step foot into.
I like this Y/A site set up just the way it is. If a person is looking for something else...then go to that other site that allows that.
