Accent shouldnt be an issue as long as you guys understand eachother, and from same ethnicity makes it easier to have more things in common,
what matters if there is love, understanding, respect and a will from both parties to make the other happy,
being from different countries may translate in having different memories or habits, but nothing biggie,
Language is there to communicate, and many who comes from different backgrounds have better communication than someone marrying his next door luvvie.
All the best,

I think the question you need to ask yourself is the ethnicity and your current values and beliefs. I am American, and white, and my family lost alot of its culture thru the generations. No longer do we have our own language, our specific customs, and through the years with the sense of "rugged individualism" I have lost the connectivity of family. Not so as much for the hispanic or asian, or black cultures. My partner is European, and that is my heritage and I love relearning what my family once abandoned to live in the United States. I have found a quality of life with him that materialism cannot change. The accent is different of course but that is minor. I just love the way he uses proper English. In many ways it has made me a better person.

I think the more important question is culture. I don't think that a guy from the US would have very many problems marrying a girl from the UK. but I have no idea about an "ethnic" Arab from the US marrying an Arab girl from say Iran.

Love does not know any ethnicity or dialect. It does not care what country you are from or how you pronounce words. Marriage is two people who love and respect each other. Everything else is not important.

different countries are far more important than ethnicity. Some people become "accustomed" to what a specific country has to offer and it can really throw relationships off

Foolish question.
Does different ethnicity cause problems in relationships? Sure, but none that matter. What makes you think nationality would?
