Has anyone else had cramping, and loose bowels before labor and if so how long did you go before labor came, and real contractions started.

You are having loose bowels because of all the fluid requirements that your body needs to keep up with. Cramps can be a sign that your body is getting ready for labor. I had these same symptoms most women do at this stage, but I ended up being induced. I wouldn't worry about when labor is going to start, just keep up your fluids and walk . Try to take your mind off of labor by doing things you enjoy because you are going to be VERY busy soon.

Oh yeah, the runs are normal. I had them for a couple days before labor started.

The period like cramps are your cervix thinning out.

It is just your body getting ready for labor, getting rid of excess "stuff". And your cramps are probably early, early labor. It'll probably be another day or 2. I am so happy for you! Good Luck!
