Ok, I heard purple and gold are good, but how, where and with what do I apply them? I need more of make up tricks than colors

I've been wearing makeup for years and have dark brown eyes and hair.

The colors that look the best with my eyes are deep plum, a dark brown-rose. I'm older, so I stay away from the frosty shadows, but if you are young, they'll work just fine.

I sometimes use a liquid, black or dark brown in my lash line. I also use a dark green or emerald colored powder in my lash line instead of liquid.

I do not line my bottom lashes. Just the outter corners, otherwise it looks too dark.

For the powder-type eyeliner, I use a stiff, angled brow brush to apply it.

Don't get too close to the inner corner of your eyes and don't make the line too thick there either. It's too much.

I've found lately that the best looking eyeshadow is actually a powder bronzer. It goes perfectly with my face and eye color. Can't go wrong.

Also, prime your eyelids with a little bit of foundation. This will give your eyeshadow a surface to stick to and your shadow will be true-to-color.

One of the best websites to learn about makeup and fashion is the TLC "What Not to Wear" TV show with the professional make-up artist Carmandy. There's some video footage of her giving tips on cosmetics application.

AND the best advice I've learned through the years is if you want your brown eyes to stand out, look at a color wheel. Find brown and look at the opposite colors on the wheel. Those are your best colors to help brown stand out.

Good question! Have fun and good luck!!

ALMAY has colors for brown eyes so go look for that. You can use a eye shadow wand to apply it. Start form the outside of your eye to the inside so it'll high light your eyes better. OK its really confusing to explain I'd have to show you but I can't so i dont know...ask your friends or someone to show you so you can get it down. Sorry I can't explain it really well. I do better with showing people when it comes to directions! SORRY!

If you get an eye primer it will make your colors stand out REALLY good. I have one and I love it. I wear it with all my eye shadows. YOu put it on over you entire lid or wherever you want the shadow. Apply shadow over your lid, curl your lashes , a couple coats of mascara and your set. Practice makes perfect. Start out simple and just wear the shadow over your eye lids. Its not hard but it takes a few times until your comfortable with it.

you might want to try greens preferably light greens but Ive heard that if you use purple as eye shadow and gold as eyeliner you get a nice smokey eye effect

Use brown, silver, purple (lilac is best)

Make sure they are shimmers.

Place a little white shadow in the inside corners of your eyes. (It will help open your eyes up)

Make sure and use an eyelash curler. This will help open your eyes up.

i take advantage of very mild brown and gold eye shadow. human beings infrequently tell i'm donning eye shadow. it relatively is maximum suitable to apply cover up that fits your dermis. you purely choose for lip shine on your lips.Unlees you have blond eyelashes, you do no longer choose for mascara. you do no longer choose for eye liner in any respect.

if youve got dark eyes and want to lighten then use brwn mascara/ eyeliner instead of black or use a nice green mascara to bring out hazels in your eyes. it work with my dark eyes. use glittery eyeshadow on nights out to make them look light yet sophisticated and glittery.
