Do you think being under pressure (from any type or source) affects the rate, speed, effectiveness, etc, at which someone thinks? If so, how?
Please try to be specific if possible thanks!

I know it impacts my abilities! Some people have an inate ability think better under pressure than others. Just like some have the ability to multi-task and others are linear. A person's ability to think under pressure can be improved through repetitive training and thats why law enforcement places such a high priority on it.
I believe the ability to think effectively under pressure is linked to neural transmission and reception in the synapses of the brain. Pressure causes increased neuron flow and some people's brains cannot handle increase effectively.
