go on line and find a free program called.. active ports. Like I said its free. Now if your on dial-up then your at the mercy of their giving of band width, then if you have a less than 56k modem then your at the mercy of your modem. Then if your also downloading your at the mercy of shared bandwidth. Same goes for uploading

Now the reason for ACTIVE PORTS... It will tell you what all is in your computer communicating with the outside world and perhaps some might be without your knowledge like spy-ware perhaps. If you find such an animal download some spy-ware program that isn't adware or webroot.

Good Luck.

Your local ISP connection or Low Signal Stength if running on Wireless.

Just wait and speed should pick up again.

First off you need to be spending some of your time learning to spell and type. I know you are 13(according to your profile) but your spelling is horrible and you should practice more.

it all depends on what kind of internet you have if you have dial up its always like that if you have cabel or DSL it usally takes a 10-day warmup period for the modem to reach optomized speed

Consider getting a new router or going to start, allprograms, accesories, system tools ,system restore and restore it!

If it doesn't work just reinstall your OS or just power off modem and router and turn them back on!
