Of all the miscarriages the vast majority of them happen in the first trimester, usually before you even know you're pregnant in the first place.
If you start stressing about this now, before you've ever had a reason to doubt your body's ability to bring a child to term, then your pregnancies are going to be absolutely miserable once you actually start trying.
Just have sex and get pregnant when you're ready. You have no reason to assume your body would fail you or your offspring.

I have had 4 kids and never experienced a miscarriage. I think it depends a lt on the shape of your uterus, your age and your general reproductive health as well as genes...
Shape of uterus- some women who wait many year to conceive have what is called an inverted or tilted uterus and either cannot conceive now or have difficulty conceiving and maintaining a pregnancy past the first few weeks.
Women who are older soon to be moms have more problems with miscarriages I beleive because of the problem above and because of other factors like fibroids that may or may not have developed because of hormone therapy or taking the pill. Ecess of hormones can cause fibroids to grow and expand.
STDs and other infections of the uterus can cause a miscarriage to occur.
If your mother had miscarriages then you could be predisposed to one too. heredity can play a factor in this but not necessarily, both my mother and grandmother had miscarriages and I never had one.
Good luck and I wish you many healthy baies in the future :)

the healthier you are , the less your odds are for a miscarriage.
In other words, if you drink excessively and do drugs you are playing with fire. On the other hand, sometimes things are just "not right" with a pregnancy and the miscarriage is natures way of dealing with it.

it has a lot to do with age, health, previous miscarriages, if you're taking drugs or drinking alcohol, family history etc. if you're still young, healthy, clean and sober, then chances are greater that everything will be alright.

Hope you don't think of that word of "miscarriage", and be more positive. Let nature take it course and your 'baby' will arrive anytime and just move on.
