Call in and get them to explain it properly. I resisted getting it for years but it makes things much easier. Worth the effort.

anythink to do with money on the internet i would not do.i am having very big problems.with some one useing our adress to
defraud the halifax.and the halifax have been no help what so ever.and if some one defrauds a bank.the bank can put the debt
on the house and not the person who is doing the fraud.and so far the halifax have not said they will not put the debt on our house.and this was done all on the internet.us and the halifax
have never met the person.thats how easy it is to do a fraud on the internet.they just need one bit of your details to do a fraud.
i think it would be easy to go to the hole in the wall.

You have to provide the answers to the security questions before being able to do internet banking. This is to protect you and others from the scam artists out there. If you find an institution on the internet that doesn't ask the security questions, STAY WAY from it.

I think that it is easier and safer to go to a bank, you talk to real people and you can discuss your problems when they ask for security questions. Whereas with a machine you are unable to have that type of communication.
