Well, as an American, I can tell you that I prefer non American women. Women in America have changed considerably in the last ten to twenty years and are making themselves less and less appealing. They will deny this, but their primary role models are women like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. American women spend a lot of time on make up, clothes and fashion to mainly impress other women. I think this turns a lot of guys off. They also spend way too much energy on competing with men by wearing some of the same clothes down to our boxer underwear. They compete for our jobs and even drive motorcycles and trucks that used to be a guy thing. Women smoking cigars was the last straw for me. I want a women who is not trying to compete with me as a man and just be my friend and companion. I find that other women from other countries respect that men and women are different, fit the bill and do not compete with me. As long as American women compete against men, they will fail in their un-natural relationship and men.

Because in America most people date for 6 months and then get married, thinking they know everything about each other. I'm American, and my fiance is from Denmark. We aren't getting married for at least another 3 years, and we've been together for 4 years and known each other for 7. I don't plan on getting divorced because i won't go into my marriage thinking about the option of getting a divorce later.

getting a divorce because your husband cheated or beat you is completely different then the Thai selling their children as prostitutes so they can buy food.
Divorce is high here, sadly, because many young people get married too fast and don't truly understand what love is, have pre-marital sex and feel they have to marry because they are having a baby, or they feel getting a divorce is easier than working on their marriage. They don't take their vows seriously with the 'for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness or in health' part. It's easy to get married ($60 and a judge or go to Los Vegas) and it's easy to get a divorce (I've never heard of a judge saying no to divorcing a couple; the church doesn't divorce so easily). Marriage is taken lightly at times and young couples don't realize what it's really all about. They should have to take a year long class and graduate from it (same with raising children).
But in Thailand, you allow young children to be sold for sex to grown men. That's molestation & prostitution and that's illegal here. I would NEVER sell my child to a man to have sex with so I could have some money to buy food or clothes with. I'd get 2 or 3 legal & moral jobs to feed my family. Even selling your wives for sex is sick and immoral. People have emotions, they are animals. They are to be treated with diginity. And it's not just Thailand, many Asian countries do this. Get a real job to feed your families!

Initially you are dealing with different cultures. Some of which do not believe in divorce, or a divorced women, is thought to have something wrong with her, as her husband must have cast her aside. Some cultures only the man can divorce the woman. In America, women seem to prefer to divorce the man, due in part to the standards of divorce, alimony, and child support.

Because it's so easy to get married and get divorced. Where I live you drive downtown and there are offices set up on the side of the road as small a hot dog concession stands that have advertisements in the window in big bold letters that say "Divorces for only $49.99". I'm surprised they don't have a drive thru window.

Åre you trying to equate the morality of a divorce and solicitation of underage prostitutes? Sick! Very sick! NBC Dateline has been foremost in catching and exposing pedophiles both domestically and abroad. They've certainly made some enemies.

Great question. Don't forget that 50% of those who get divorced are men. The problem in America is too much of everything. We are so overboard on what isn't really very important, such as materialism. It drives people crazy. Don't blame the women alone. It takes two to screw up everything.

Because American women are ALLOWED to divorce their husbands. Our women are NOT second class citizens with little or no rights. Our young girls are not forced into prostitution to help pay the bills.
That being said, I waited until I was in my mid-40s to marry. Why? Because I wanted to find the love of my life. Guess what? I found her!

each and all of the arguments against gay marriage the place used as arguments against interracial marriage. the only reason is by the fact they prefer to justify their discrimination. Edit: i admire how Searcher has no theory what organic ability. particular Searcher, if fathers killing their sons occurs each and all of the time in nature, that's the definition of organic. regardless of the undeniable fact that it does no longer mean we could save on with nature. It the question, he became into only showing that the "that is no longer organic" argument is a strawman.
