What happens?

Question

I have just texted this girl I love (whom I have told my feeling to and she said she just wanted to be friends - it was last year) and I got no reply at all. I asked her if she is aware about the classwork and homework given the previous day because she missed the lesson.

Yesterday we texted each other (I start off) and I even complimented her and joked around in the texts. But, there's no reply today.

Is it possible that she simply refused to reply? I am confused because there were times that she did not reply (and there were more times that she did) and a friend of mine encountered the same problem too last year when he wanted to talk about a school project.

I am 14 years old and yeah, today is Chinese New Year.

I think she might be aware of your feelings for her...
Clearly, she just wants to be friends at the moment but sometimes your sms suggests to her u wanted more...
When u text about stuff that she usually does with some of her other friends, she feels comfortable and reply u back. But when the boundary is crossed over (e.g. too many compliments u dun usually expect to hear from a friend), she just doesn't know how to reply back or doesn't want to.
OR It can be tiresome to sms. Really! So when I (or even her!) get lazy, I dun reply back.
I know I sound a bit cruel in the way I answer you, but I have been in your situation before. I'm sure you want an honest opinion. What I suggest is to just ask her out and progress further from there. You are still young. There is a lot to learn about the birds and the bees. Even though I'm ten years older than you, but I'm still learning today. Dun give up and one day you will find your true love. :)

I agree with the 7th answer. When girls are uncomfortable because of all the compliments or flirting, they just shut down.
I'm not saying this is the case, but I'm not saying that it isn't either. While lots of people may say you're too young to love, I disagree.
My sister fell in love when she was younger, they had difficulties, but ended up together. This girl doesn't feel the same way about you, though, so you have to respect her.
By respecting her, that means to calm your feelings for her when she's around. I know that's hard.
Also, flirting can sometimes make you uncomfortable when you don't have feelings for that person. My guy friend used to be the same way.
He'd flirt & rub my back...& it made me uncomfortable. I thought I was being silly, but when someone makes you uncomfortable, it's best to tell them.
You've probably just made her uncomfortable & she doesn't know how to respond. That may not be the case, though.
For all you know, she was really busy & couldn't get to her phone...or couldn't answer. Be open to all the options, because there are a lot.
There's thousands of reasons why she may not have answered the text & it may not be what anyone here guesses. Just calm down & realize that it could've been for a completely different reason.

Maybe she is just shy or playing hard to get. When guys I like text me sometimes I dont reply just to keep them curious, my friends do this also. So dont sweat it...

you can always try to call her if u got her number.it looks like your more into her than she is into u.in any case don,t give up she might text u when u least expected just be patient.

maybe she was busy and not checking her txts or shes ran out of cred or she just did'nt wanna next you get over it
