Sex is not sick, weird, or disgusting... well it can be messy so if you don't like mess that part can be kind of icky. If you think it's disgusting it just means that you're not ready for it yet and that's perfectly okay.
But here's a bit of explanation/info for you since you asked for it:
Not everyone is addicted to sex, but yes most people like some sort of sexual activity. Animals are designed to like sex. It's how we reproduce. If it didn't feel good then there wouldn't be as many babies crawling around.
From what little I know about biology only humans have sex for the fun of it as well as the making babies part. Humans engage in sex even when there is no possibility of producing a child... like when the woman is pregnant like you mentioned. That's because it feels good, and there are actually physical and emotional health benefits to having a healthy sex life.
Pregnant women have a lot of extra hormones in ther systems, and it makes sex more pleasurable. It also reduces the physical stress and fatigue on the body that occurs from carrying a fetus.
A virgin who masturbates is still a virgin. Virginity in the heterosexual sense of the word is when the penis penetrates the vagina. Masturbation (actually any sexual activity) actually releases endorphins in the body which can reduce stress and tension and improve mood temporarily. It also helps you to know your own body and know what you like, so that you can tell your future partner what you like. Masturbating can also increase your ability to get sexually excited because it gets blood flowing to that area. So someone who doesn't get aroused easily can try to change that by masturbating more often.
Now for personal opinion:
I was a virgin until I was 20, and it wasn't because I thought sex was gross. Virginity wasn't a thing to feel proud of or ashamed about. It was just the right choice for me. Being a virgin did not give me the right to judge other people who were sexually active, especially if the people who were having sex were adults. Everyone makes their own decisions about this stuff.
When you're ready to have sex you'll know. Sex won't sound gross anymore. Instead you'll be excited and maybe a bit nervous about it. But in the meantime try not to look at sex as something bad. Just learn what you can about it when the subject comes up, and try to suspend judgement about it until you've actually had it. Good luck.

Congrats to you if that is the way you feel. I know that it is especially tough with all the peer pressure involved!
But I don't know why you think that sex is weird, sick, and disgusting. Sex is a natural part of life, not something sick, twisted, or perverted. Maybe you should find someone to help you with this issue, so that when you find a partner - male or female - you will be able to enjoy this pleasant aspect of a relationship!
EDIT -- to Ashley below me. Where did you get the impression that sex is supposed to be between people who love one another. Are you saying that animals love each other; that the 2 dogs out in the street are in love? Or are you saying that sex between humans is totally different than those in the ENTIRE rest of the animal kingdom? You are changing a naturally occurring bodily function into something that it isn't, assigning more meaning to it than there is.

Contrary to what's being kind of implied, here, no one's forcing you to have sex. Just like a few other people have said on here, there's many reasons that sex is a big deal. It further bonds you with the one you love, it feels good, it's exercise, it's mentally healthy - or at least it can be... (but I'm no expert myself and I'm not going to pretend to be or anything.)
I mean, sure, there's always going to be a large number of people out there who are only looking at sex as an object of achievement and have it just to have it without emotion, but if you're a virgin and happy, there's no reason to complain just because other people find it enjoyable.

Sex is suppose to be something between two people that LOVE each other, but now a days its just "hey can i hit it?" People dont respect each other these days. ((its sad)) If i was you i would wait till you find someone you LOVE. Dont listen to anyone that calls you names because you're still a virgin its nothing wrong in this world about being a virgin! You are making the right choices in you're life the other people who comment isnt. I wish when i was 15 i was as strong as you! Good luck w.everything!

nicely 19 and a virgin that's your decision. Congratulations to you Or I pitty you. the two way! intercourse is a the type to open to the known public and it is going to be stored between 2 persons and greater inner maximum, human beings could positioned on greater outfits and not exhibit themselves as they do at present. yet it incredibly is how issues are at present and not lots we are able to do to alter it. for my section i think of intercourse is amazingly pleasing with the main appropriate individual, on the main appropriate time and in the main appropriate place. possibly once you meet the main appropriate individual you will comprehend what that is all approximately.

It's fun, it's good exercise, it's inexpensive, and it brings you closer to the one you love.
Other than that, no reason at all.
Oh, and virgin until 19, since everyone's listing that. And the first time was terrible. As were the second and third.

So stay a virgin. No one's forcing you to have sex. It's good to wait until you're ready.
Edit: I had sex at 18. And I love sex, but I love it because it's with my fiance.
