I texted my classmate to ask her if she needed my help with something, which I thought she might. I was just being friendly yeah? But she did not reply. I keep wondering why and I feel slightly hurt
some weeks ago I texted another friend to wish her happy birthday but she did not reply.
were they right not to reply? I think it is rude. And I am hurt ouch!

Maybe they cannot text.
Or are not allowed to.
Third, they do not want to get into sending text to boys.

No I understand, if I text someone and they don't text back... at all... I get kind of hurt and upset. But then one time my friend texted me after I left his house and I had my phone in the other room and I went to bed without knowing he texted me, then when I went to leave to go to class (at like 11 in the morning) i got the text, but then i was a little late so i drove to class, then I had class and by that point i decided to not text him back and just talk to him later that night when he called. So things do happen I learned. Plus I learned that with texting if you word things in a certain way you don't get a text back often. say you worded it like this "Do you want help with the homework?" . thats different than wording it like "If you ever want any help with the homework, just let me know! see you in class = )" he/she most likely will not respond in that case. people often don't text back if its something worded like that, ive learned.
Its okay though, feel better = ) It happens to me too.

You're not a freak, but it is a little silly to get upset. There could be lots of reasons why they didn't reply.
Don't get your feelings hurt, sweetie. There has to be a reason why she didn't reply back.
Just forget about it & don't text her again. It sounds like she doesn't know how to reply...lol.

NO you're not a 'freak' for feeling hurt....You were trying to help and with your other friend you were being nice by wishing her a happy birthday....but for them not to even reply (thankyou) is quite rude.
Just keep being 'YOU' (nice guy)....try not to get upset over it..

Either their plans don't include texting, Your text didn't go through which if you have a phone like mine it tends to happen, or their just being b*tches. Maybe you should talk to them and ask why they didn't respond. You'll never know if you don't ask.

youre not a freak...youre just sweet and kind. dont even think twice about being a freak because you hurt...that makes me so mad when someone makes someone feel hurt like that....its ridiculous!!!!! and maybe they dont have a plan that covers that, if so, then confront them about it.....you never know! and also, their phone couldve been off or it couldve died, and they just never got it....theres so many possibilitties, just ask THEM to their faces so that way you dont get mad before you know all the facts....hope i helped!

maybe their plan doesn't cover text messages and their parents don't let them text. that's what its like in my house.
