If all the female players are at their best, no injuries or any other excuses, it would be either of the Williamses. Justine, Amelie, Kim, Maria and all the others a great players too but the two Williamses are better than the rest when they put their mind to it. Case in point, Serena at this year's Australian. She's not even 100 percent and she went through a lot of the good players (Maria even) like they were beginners. Imagine if she is 100%. That can be said to Venus at the 2005 Wimbledon where she went through a lot of big names like they didn't matter. She only played a 3-set match in the final with Lindsay and still won it. For someone who hasn't played a lot of matches, she made it look pretty easy....Like I said, the Williamses are always the winners when they're playing hot. They are a level away from every other good players. They just need to stay healthy and focused.

Serena Williams, easily. She has the ability to dominate woman's tennis just like Roger Federer does on the mens side.

Probably The Williams sisters. When they dominated tennis they were in their best physical shape.

Justine Henin-Hardenne (who coincidentally is #1 right now)
She is fast, consistant, has a decent serve, and has the best mental game of any player I've seen in years.

What kind of mental shape are they in?

I'll go with Serena Williams.
