I live in WA State. It rains here alot, so a flat roof just wouldn't work. So before you reroof, check out the rooftypes in the area. Once you decide on the type, in this case flat find out as much as you can about flat roofs. I have listed a site that explains a little about the types of roofs. I have also listed a site for a roof type that is really outstanding.

check G.E. single ply rubber, my brother just did one on a carport that couldn, t handle any more weight!
