First: eliminate parenthesis - distribute the outer term with the terms in parenthesis.

(4/9)(1/3x)+(4/9)(6)=5/8x+1/3

4/27x + 24/9 = 5/8x + 1/3

4/27x + 6/3 = 5/8x + 1/3

*Eliminate fractions - multiply the denominators with each term.

(27x)(3)(8)(4/27x)+(27x)(3)(8)(6/3)=(27x)(3)(8)(5/8x)+(27x)(3)(8)(1/3)

*Cross cancel "like" terms & combine the remaining terms.

(3)(8)(4)+(27x)(8)(6)=(27)(3)(5)+(27x)(8)(1)

96 + 1296x = 405 + 216x

Sec: combine coefficients with the "x" variable > subtract 216x from both sides (when you move a term to the opposite side, always use the opposite sign).

96 + 1296x - 216x = 405 + 216x - 216x

96 + 1296x - 216x = 405

96 + 1080x = 405

*Subtract 96 from both sides.

96 - 96 + 1080x = 405 - 96

1080x = 405 - 96

1080x = 309

Third: isolate "x" on one side - divide both terms by 1080x.

1080x/1080 = 309/1080

x = 309/1080

*Simplify the fraction into lowest terms.

x = 103/360

with great difficulty.

change fractions to decimals

then it becomes 0.44 (.33 +6 ) = .63x + 0.33

or 2.78 = .63x +0.33

Then x has to be 3.89 to make the equation balance

or maybe..

4/9)*(1/3x)+(4/9)(6/1)= 5/8x+1/3
4/27x+24/9=5/8x+1/3
4/27x-5/8x=-24/9+1/3
you can do the rest, find a common denominator and put it all together

4/9 (1/3x + 6) = 5/8x + 1/3

4/9 ( x/3 + 6 ) = 5x/8 + 1/3

4x/27 +24/9 = 5x/8 + 1/3

4x/27 - 5x/8 = 1/3 - 24/9

(4x x8/27x8) - (5x x27/27x8 ) = 3/9 - 24/9

(32x /27x8) - (135x/27x8) = ( -21)/9

(-103x/27x8) = ( -21)/9

Multiply both sides by 9

(-103x/3x8) = -21

-103x/24 = -21

-103 x = -21 x 24 = -504

103 x = 504

x = 504 / 103 = 4.8932

I'm not gunna solve it for you, but i will give you a hint. Make all the fractions have a common denominator, and then multiply them all so they will become reular numbers. From there it should be super easy.
