I heard many girls telling me so. I am not implying 100% extinct but I am referring those men who know they will be faithful to their wives till their old age at 80s and above.

Any comments?

Those other girls are incorrect. There are many good men out there.

What is more likely, are the following:

Many women do not recognize or appreciate a good man when they find him or when they have him.

Many women will take a good man and then harrass or insist that he change and become what they want in some way.

Some women have absolutely nothing that interests or is valued by a good man, therefore they cant get one. Hey, why would a good man want less then a good woman?

So many of the women who want a man who will hang right in there, are also the women who will treat their man badly and who will be the first ones to break vows or file for divorce.

Now, go tell the women who say that there arent good men left that maybe it isnt the men, maybe it is there are few women who are smart and good enough to recognize a good man and contribute anything but horror to a good mans life.

Extinct no, a dying breed, yes. Society as a whole is imparting new ideals about marriage and extra-martial relationships, divorce and someone on the side were at one point considered something to be ashamed of, now its a matter of the fact point of life. Its becoming such that children of married parents are becoming the minority in the classroom. Last time I was home, the youngest brother of a friend whose house I was at asked his mother, "Mommy can you and Daddy get a divorce, I wanna be like my friends." Of course he didnt really understand what he was asking for but, it does show a nasty trend in society.
A dying breed, yes, but I know that they are not truely extinct, I have had a feel beautiful relationships and some not so beautiful ones, but I know that when I find the girl that Im willing to get on one knee for it will be the one that I spend the rest of my life with.

Nope, we're still out here. I was a wonderful husband. Ask anyone who knew what I went through as a married man. I deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for the work I did for those years.I have never been unfaithful, and will not in the future. So, we're out here. But, in my case, just not interested in being a husband again, at least for now. I am more interested in being a good father, and a good man.

The good ones, like myself, who go through bad experiences have kind of removed ourselves from the system. Just not in any hurry to possible go through the same thing again.

Are good men extinct? No but they are rare to find. I pride myself in being one of those. I was faithful to both of my wives. The first one even when she was unfaithful to me and my second one until her death. It's just a quality of my raising. You take marriage as a serious decision and keeping a promise as your number one priority. There is no magic to it - it's called being a real man instead of being an a#$hole.

Not extinct and probably just as hard to find as ever. It's just that today, we live in the information age and at least in western culture both men and women can freely express their feelings for others and infidelity.

If you can't find them, maybe your looking in the wrong places.
If girls are looking for guys at clubs, bars, parties and places like that, guess what, not going to work.
Most clubs and bars are nothing more than human meat markets.
If they want "husband type" guys, they need to analize just what that is.
What kind of husband are they looking for?
What will his values be?
Religion?
Personality?
These girls think some rich, perfect looking, awsome guys is going to come along and snatch them up and take them away to live happily ever after.
That doens't happen.
Most "husband type" guys are the guys that girls always want to be "friends" with, nothing more.

they aren't extinct just hard to find, they are like diamonds, you've gotta keep looking till you get a glimpes of them.btw keeping a man faithful depends on the woman too.how they treat their hubby.some ppl have a good hubby but they can't be thankful enough.some ppl go over board as to abuse their hubby.so they are out there you just gotta look real hard.they may notbe all good looking but they have a heart of gold.

just because you don't cheat on your wife doesn't make you a good husband! You might only be very faithful because there are no other opportunities.
