Of course it would not be the same... as anyone who's ever been popular , good looking , interesting , and in demand by all in their own circle of life know ...In that kind of glorified light you are always being watched , sought after , fought over , imitated , coveted , hated , and loved:even stalked .Yet the celebs make a heck of a lot more money at it than we common revered folk .Hey , that's not fair , I want back pay for all the bad things I've had to endure in my lifetime by others who just couldn't leave me alone , all because I was all that , and they couldn't help themselves with being obssessed w/ me and all that I did , no matter what it was..... I got a darn complex that lasted for years! Do you ever think about the negative side of this? I do , and I don't envy the celebs , as it took me long enough to get out of the hotseat as it was , and I didn't have to live it forever and always for the rest of my days , as they do.And don't worry I could say that I still have a big head , but it's just my self confidant ego up top that keeps me above the ...

Maybe they would all learn to live in the real world like the rest of us.

I have no problem with celebrities having a certain amount of fame for their artistic talents. However, when they misuse that "fame" for political statements and some other undesirable things, I stop watching them. As far as I'm concerned, their opinions matter no more or less than the rest of us.

This country seems to have gone way overboard over "celebs", making their egos swell till they almost burst. They think their opinions and actions matter more than they do.

I think it would do everyone (including the celebs) a huge favor if people would realize they are no different from anyone else and start treating them more like "people" than Gods.

Awesome question I have never seem a question as well thouht of than this it would be awesome if that happened for like one day but then the geeks would probally be the famous people. I would think that they would earn aton less if any thing at all I mean if celebs arent celebs then they are normal people earning normal people money. We arent really that different form Brittany and Pink and all them!!! God gave us all a gift and its just that singing isnt our gift. And most of them are not using their gift they way God wishes they did. Some use it to show their body some use their gift to get people messed up but there are a couple of music groups out there using there gift to prevent suiside and they are the ones who are true stars!!!! Thats all I got!!!

well of course they wouldnt you silly thing
we buy magazines whihc go to companies who make the mgazine whihc goes to the photogrraphers and journalists who make it all up fro the mgazines which may the celebritys for interviews or pictures

they need the right
and i think the world would be a much better place

no eating disorders
no need to be perfect (just like the celebs)

I think they should just be treated like that
like us normal people

and actually do some hard labour for well earned money except fro just saying a couple of lines or singing a little song or kicking a football around fro about an hour and a half,

its all a game to them , they love the attention
xxxx
take care

It won't happen. There are too many idiots who follow around these messed-up people and calling them idols. Whatever happened to people with REAL talent being celebrities ie talent like Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland etc. Now any idiot can be famous. Sometimes I just cringe when I see how these people behave and I always think what a shame, but the people who should really be ashamed are the people who condone such behaviour and idolise it......

That would be very interesting to see, celebrities getting treated like us non-famous people. They'd probably have to get another job since no one would like them that much. Then again, look at all those shows that are about normal people, also known as reality television. Maybe they'd keep their jobs, maybe not. I guess the only way we can figure out what happens is if we actually did live in that alternative universe you described.

don't think it would make much difference, a lot of them would still strut around like pompous pricks, take Liam Gallagher, what a complete pillock, i bet he doesn't walk around like that back in Manchester, he wouldn't last 5 minutes. all the time you got the bloody press climbing all over them, with the completely mistaken idea that people are interested in opening their newspaper and seeing some gormless z Lister falling out of a nightclub they will carry on doing it and these "celebs" really believe that they're important. thank you, that's my rant of the day.

I think it would deflate their egos. Personally, I don't care about their personal lives. I don't care who they marry, when they get divorced, who their sleeping with etc etc. I will admire great performances in movies and television, but nothing more.

Our society has placed them on pedestals, as if they are worthy of worship and respect, which is sad. They are just people, no different than you or me. Anyone who thinks they are perfect or somehow better has been fooled by the false flashy images in the press.

I wish we could treat them like normal people, I think they would then be normal...in pay and in their actions. I think there is way too much emphasis on these people and they let it go to their heads, and think that they're important just because they get their picture taken all the time. Our obsession has to stop.!

Most celebs would love it - some would probably have even more bizarre behavior in an effort to get the attention they need.
