Could possibly have been implantation bleeding but it is rare. Only about 1/3 of pregnant women have implantation bleeding. It also could have been an irritated cervix. Also, could be your period getting a slow start.

I spotted for a day before I found out I was preggo. It was before my period was supposed to start so it very well could be implantation. I didn't know what it was. I wasn't trying to conceive but come to find out I was pregnant. You still have to wait to take a test. I finally showed a positive test 5 days after my period was supposed to start. I even had a neg. blood test til after I missed my period. Don't get discouraged, you may be pregnant!! good luck!!

Yes it is entirely possible that you are pregnant, it wont be a miscarriage, you would know if it was, pain etc, and it does not sound like a period, the best thing you can do is to take the test Good luck and let us know how you get on we love to hear good news on here

Hang in there sweetie. it is way too early to tell anything!!! Try not to get too worked up about this, it will put you into stress mode and you will miscarry! now here is some advise from a mother of 2 who miscarried in between, I know how you could be feeling. Please wait until your missed period until you take a test. I believe the early detection tests are a real let down. I believe its too early to be accurate. I know its hard to wait!!! Ive been there!!!
Hang in there!!! stay calm and level headed, and try not to get too worked up!! Youre doing a great job staying healthy!! I will happen!!!! Keep up the good work!

Honey, dont go getting discouraged just yet!! I have the same thing (or used to before I started going through 'Perimenopause'). Its simply old blood, from last month's period, is all. All women get this. Its nothing to be concerned about. Just keep doing what your doing....because I've had two miscarriages, and trust me, its definately not old brown blood that comes out, its as Red as an Apple!!! And tons of it!!! In fact, during one of my miscarriages, I lost so much blood, had I not had to get up to go pody I'd of bled to death, right there in my bed!! I believe it was God waking me up, in time to get to the hospitol !! While I was at the hospitol, I was suppose to have a "Blood Transfusion" that's how much blood I lost!! However, my (then) husband, wouldn't allow me to have one, because in the early 80s, "Aids" was making its way around America, and he was afraid I'd end up getting it through a "Blood Transfusion" when in fact, anyone in my family would have been happy to fly up to Groveland (where we lived) to give me there blood, (In a Heart-Beat!!), since most of them have the same blood type as I do!!! But, "No my EX" wanted me home!! And in fact, he told the doctor that I had to go home to clean the house, and take care of our son. My doctor chewed him out!! He told him there is no way I'm letting her go home, let alone go home to do housework!!! They argued for awhile, until my Ex, got his way with the doctor!! But, only under strict bed-rest, rules, for atleast two weeks!!! The first thing my EX, tells me to do when we got home was the dishes!! What an A---H---!!! HoH?!!! And believe me, I was seeing spurts, in my eyes, everytime I got up off of the couch!!! I had to get up do some, and go sit back down!! He figured since he had to take care of our son, and clean all the blood up from off of the bed, and floors, that I had to atleast do the dishes! HM? That's only one of the reason's we're devorced, now!!! So, dont stress honey!!! You'll be just fine, just keep on trying!! And dont get discouraged, should you see things like this again, its all apart of life!! Bright RED Blood, is what you have to worry about, should it be before you mensy, okay!! Smile!!!
