Hannibal DOES NOT sound nice and your child will DEFINITELY get teased relentlessly. Come up with another "nice" name.

Yes I have a feeling your son would be the butt of Hannibal the cannibal jokes....when he realizes what that means I don't think he would be very happy with the name choice! Spare him by sticking with a name that won't be associated with a man eater.

I actually like the name myself, but I would never name my child that. He would definitely get called Hannibal the cannibal. It's a shame, but some people ruin names for everyone...Adolph, Judas, etc.

you will get plenty of hannibal lector jokes. kinda like if you chose adolph. But the hannibal jokes will die down since the last few books/movies have sucked and by the time your kid is older no one his age will know about them. Probably.

i think hannibal sounds a bit evil like the movie but if u reely lyk it then stik
it has a bad reputation though!

You should think of how the child will feel growing up with that name. It's not cute. The child will be teased constantly. If you want your child in tears every day go ahead.

i imagine love grow to be glaring, yet one-sided in the movie Hannibal . in the opera scene he talks to Allegra about Clarice, he made a nuanced confession about his love for Clarice. "tell me Clarice? would you each and every and each and every say to me - end. in case you loved me you d end?" Then he KISSED her and sacrificed his personal hand. i imagine Clarice felt appreciate and admiration in route of him. in the e book I don t imagine they were in love in any respect. It grow to be quite appreciate, admiration, and some type of sexual appeal. Clarice grow to be disillusioned through the international and FBI. And there grow to be a guy - a serial killer - who favored her purity, her strenght, and dealt with her as a lady - and brainwashed her, for sure. yet i prefer to imagine, that Clarice has ultimately discovered herself, been waiting to go away the previous behind and discover her happiness. They helped one yet another to proccess their aggravating previous and it made a particular bond between them. they are regularly suggested as soulmates, sexual companions, associates, more beneficial or a lot less enemies, draw close and student - yet no longer those who're in love.

It's just so old sounding, and there's just something about it that I don't like.
If you like it, though, then go for it!
If you really like a name, I wouldn't suggest posting it on here. Some people can get really nasty, like your first answerer.
