were totally relaxed and not expecting it (a suckerpunch)? when ,by who why, did it knock the wind outta you,did you take the pain or did you cry?

My foster mother hit me in the chest once and knocked the wind out of me. I felt like i was going to die. Needless to say, I was looking for new living quarters shortly thereafter. There is no way to avoid the pain, but I did cry. If I had been big enough, I would've returned the favor.

Yes, yes, years ago.. a huge bug eyed sheila in a karate suite.. certainly did.. took the pain like a man and tried to look tough..

I have gotten hit in the stomache before, really hard, but I have a strong stomache and don't cry over that feeling because it really does not hurt. =)
