tell me about this band. GREAT song (don't remember what it's called). Lead singer is a black guy... I think a white guy plays bass. black guy with dreds on drums.. band name has the word "family" in it (I think). The lead singer plays an instrument that resembles a guitar that sits across his lap. In the video, they are dancing and playing their instruments in a cargo container (the ones that are on ships) The song is really fun ...kind of borderline rock... blues... I hoe that is enough detail. That is all I can remember right now...

Robert B nailed it, it's Robert Randolph and the Family Band and he is the hottest, (I mean talent wise, although he is pretty cute) to hit the music scene in a long time. Very interesting story too. You should Google him.

I think the band is Sly and the Family Stone. Too vague on what answer you want on the Song though.
