Do you think it's possible to become rich in some honest way?

I knew so many rich people, and they all started (and proceeded) with doing something bad: cleaning off their partners, marrying rich women for money; cleaning them and running away; making people to go on drugs and taking their money away; selling bad products; making people commit suicide.
Once they made it on top, they started talking about how they "worked" hard. Of course, if you defy planning and scheming and lies as a hard work, they did.
But, realistically, is it possible to make it without doing anything
bad?

Did those who get great jobs get them by an honest way, or because they slept with a boss, gave a bribe, were someone's relative?
And those who write a book, didn't they then slept with a publisher to
make it published?
Of course, when they attain the status they pretend that they took risks, but little investigation uncovers it all.

Unfortunately, it is my belief that all wealthy people have done something (stepped on someone else) in order to attain their wealth. We unfortunately live in a Dog - Eat - Dog society, where you are forced to do something against your better judgement in order to attain a higher social class.

Sure, there are plenty of ways. Sell on ebay, write a book, make good investments, have a savings account. I don't think you can get rich quick, but it can be done without jumping in other peoples pockets or mowing people down to get there. Think about the ol story about the tortous and the hare.....

A person can become rich beyond any means without money. I know that this is not what you ask, BUT if you have FAMILY and FRIENDS that LOVE you for WHO you ARE and WHAT you are, you are the RICHEST person in the world beyond any monetary means.
