Giuliani is arrogant, bigoted, ill tempered and a womanizer. He divorced his 2nd wife, Donna Hanover, by announcing it at a press conference instead of telling her first. He was having an affair with an aide living at Gracie Mansion while still married and mayor of NY and he took credit for all the good things that were done by others in NYC. He fired William Bratton; the police commissioner in 1994 when he found out he made the cover of Time magazine because he (Giuliani) wanted to take the credit for the innovative crime fighting. I lived in NY during his dictatorship, and believe me, I would not want him as president. His character is far worse than Bush & Clinton's worse faults rolled into one, if you can believe that's possible. His name should be Mussoliani.
As for 9/11…. he’s no hero, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The real heroes of 9/11 were the NYC firefighters & police plus all the other forces from the surrounding tri-state areas who voluntarily came to pitch in & help us.”
OK, here'a a link from Newsweek:

Ok, being a New Yorker born and raised, I remember when Guliani was elected mayor. Being former NYPD he acted extremely radical in all of decisions which ended up pissing a lot of people off! In the end there still are people pissy about what he did. I personally, think that he was alright for the mayor, but for the country?? I think that would be a big mistake. He only became popular because of 9/11 and what else was he supposed to do? He was the mayor! He needed to show his face! Don't get me wrong though I like the man (heck I know his stepdaughter) but politically speaking...that is another thing.

First of all, because you misspelled his name.
Second... we will not be given a choice of the best person for the job. We will be given choices of people most acceptable to the lobbyists and power brokers.
People wonder why the President can't seem to do a good job, when they are given a choice between 2 incompetents at election time.

Vote. If you do not vote you have no right to complain about the idiot who gets elected.
You can easily guarantee that an idiot will be elected. So plan on complaining.

He has alot of explaining to do to me to want him as my candidate. It is not that I won't support him, it is more that I want a better understanding of why I should vote for him. This is going to be a very long dirty road for all of the candidates for the 2008 election. As it stands right now , I would vote for road kill before I would vote for Hillary( I mean Bills wife).

if your actively considering buying into the liberal diatribe of tax and spend and cut and run, you have only yourself to blame. anyone BUT the pelosi /reid regime type nominee..is the answer. rudy guliani will win not because of who he is, but the fact of him not being hillary....against hillary, rudy or anyone of over 200 million inhabitants of the us would be an answer. heck, a trained monkey would be an answer that would win as well.

Probably because you spelled his name wrong. It's Guliani. That's okay, Italian last names are hard.
