You aren't useless. You have strengths and good qualities, and you can have as many friends as you want. But of course, it won't just magically happen. You have to make it happen. If you're willing to do the work and be patient, you can completely change this feeling you have about life. Here are some tips...

- Give yourself credit for you accomplishments, both large and small. If you discount anything, that's the bad pattern.

- See the positive side of life along with the negative...advantages with disadvantages, benefits with costs, rewards with risks, possibilities with limitations, good with bad.

- Be your own best friend. Don't put yourself down. Encourage yourself.

- Make a list of your strengths, what you're good at, your strongest interests, your best qualities. You need to keep these facts in mind when thinking about yourself.

- Be a lifelong learner. Work on developing new mental skills (software for your brain!) and adding important new information (data for your brain!)...take learning seriously. Years from now, you'll be plenty happy with your intelligence.

- Take an interest in other people. Ask them about what's going on in their lives. Be a good listener. People love this, and you'll discover the common ground between - the start point of friendships.

- When you fail or make mistakes, don't conclude you're useless or a failure. Learn from them. That's how every successful person does it, because nobody is perfect. Why did you do it that way? What's a better way? Analyze these experiences to discover how to approach similar situations more effectively in the future.

Above all, be patient...and persistent. It takes time to grow a stronger self. In truth, it's a lifelong project, the key is to start now. I absolutely believe you can do it.

Don't beat yourself up.. Make small goals.. I mean really small.. Start out.. with Making sure you get out of bed on time.. That's a positive. 2. try making sure you follow through with something else.. That's a positive.. Gradually build up to something bigger.. We all go through periods like that in life. .Your not the only one. Setting goals doesn't mean you'll end up President or CEO of Microsoft, but It will build some self-esteem. Try some affirmations too.. Do them daily. Good luck..

I think you have been trained to feel these things and being alone is not always a bad thing, it can be a good thing, but choosing our friends wisely so that we feel good when we are with them is very important as well
