The apartment that faces mine.. the cars below in the parking lot. But beyond that I see the beautiful hills, covered with snow. The sky is just too blue today.. it's so bright outside. When I look out the window, I usually only look to the distant hills...they are so pretty.

From my bedroom window, I can see the 4 feet of snow that has kept my roommate and I from leaving our house for the past 4 days, I can see the neighbor climbing on her roof to shovel off snow from her roof, I can see my crappy ford escort with a flat tire from the pressure of the cold and I can see My roommate trying to shovel us out a path so we can hop in her car and see if there is a store open to get some more food which maybe impossible b/c we have to take over seven detours after we get out of the parking lot!

I see beautiful pine trees but I also see all of the flower planters that I never got around to emptying and removing from the porch. So, the view is impacted by dead flowers and stems of flowers from the summer. What a bummer. I will have to do something about that. Maybe tomorrow. Or, the next day. What the heck, they will still be there in June.

Snow. More snow. And ice stretching out of the harbour to the horizon. In the yard, three crows quarrelling over table scraps.
