Yes, but likely only if you haven't written anything to disc since then (which, alas, is unlikely). Your file was not erased when it was emptied from the recycle bin, but marked as deleted, permitting the O/S to write over it the next time it needed space.
There are lots of programs, some free, on the Internet (go to a safe site like CNET's www.download.com) and type "unerase" without the quotes in the search box. Preferably do this on someone else's computer. Standard utility packages like Norton System Works also include that feature.
However, if you've been using the computer a lot since you emptied the bin, there's a good chance you've overwritten the file. Still, if it's important, it's worth a try.

Yes. But, it depends on how recently you emptied your
recycle bin and what data you have been saving on
your PC since that time.
The area th files occupied is classed as free space, and obviously can then get overwritten with fresh data.
Using the tools thrown in with Windows, can produce unreliable results. There are many programs that will attempt the recovery process for you in a more controlled way. Couple of random links below for
your further information.
Good luck!

Yes, Just look for Data Recovery software or file recovery (I have tried R-Studio before and it works), you can look for it in download.com
In fact the reason why you delete files quicker than copy it. because when it delete, It doesn't delete the real file, just delete FAT (A tiny data that tell system where this file located (on your harddisk sector XXXXXX to XXXXXX), last modified, file name, size etc. It's to mark that don't rewrite to this !)
So you can recover deleted files using those program. But if you've just copy some file (mostly BIG file) to your PC, It may can't be recover anymore

it is possible to retrieve it but you will have to use software to do it. all you did so far is erase the file that leads to it on the hard drive.if its something you really need then i would get software to get it because eventually the operating system will overwrite the file and it will be permanetly gone
