I want to call out today. Yet I do not have a good excuse, I need something related to health, and has to be realistic but not too bad so I can go back to work tom. Can someone please help? ASAP!

Tell them that you have personal buisness to tend to. Or, that you have a family matter that needs tended to. Or, tell them that a family member is sick and you need to look in on them. Or, a doctors appointment that may last longer than you expect. Or, you have unexpected company. If you don't call in often you can get away with about any excuse. If you are regularly calling in sick you are out of luck.

Thank you for a good question so that I could earn my 2 points to get to level 5!!!!

Food poisoning is a great standby. But... it's tricky to pull off on Sunday morning. Your boss might assume that you're hung over.

The nice thing about having a "stomach bug" is that you don't have to fake having your voice all scratchy.

Just sound a little weak and very apologetic. After all, people who are really sick would much rather be at work.

Happy hookie day!

you could always say you woke up feeling sick on your stomach and tell them that if you feel better you will try to come in today buut don't count on it......that way it makes it seem like you WANT to go but your just not feeling up to it.

Really bad cramps
Sore throat
toothache (that won't respond to pain meds)
