Solve for "m"..... - 7m/5 = 3/8

First: eliminate the fractions - multiply the denominators with each term.

(5)(8)(-7m/5) = (5)(8)(3/8)

Sec: cross cancel "like" terms & combine the remaining terms.

(8)(-7m) = (5)(3)

- 56m = 15

Third: isolate "m" on one side - divide both terms by "-56"....

(- 56m)/-56 = (15)/-56

m = -15/56
