In Philosophical terms ‘Reality’ is the totality of real things independent of a persons perception of them. A flower, a tree, a person. We see these things and each person perceives each according to their own interests.
Reality as a whole is anything that exists or happens. A flower blooms in a garden as you care for it. A tree falls in the forest with no one around to see it. Both instances occurred as we can see the results of both. From this we can derive that change is definitive. Whether that change is growth or decay, everything changes. Our perception of that change is our own illusion, or better, our creative perception. The knowledge that everything changes is noted by result. While perception of motion, what
took place to endure to the result is infinitive. Made that way by our own sense of reasoning, what we accept as possible. Motion is, therefore illusionary, based on perception and subject to the moment of pondering. While change is consistent and definitive. Reality moves.

When premise is set on "perceptions" it immediately becomes extremely arbitrary !! For there are very few hard, fast rules to be tacked down on perception---for, given the particular individual---what they believe and why can run the absolute gambit for any particular applicable reason ! Then, to toss in a describer such as illusion into the mix and you simply compound the arbitrary nature OF the question --- for the view of illusion is a precept of it's own !!
Enter--- the arbitrary world OF philosophy---the "game" as it is OF discussions centering around the precepts of life !!

Regardless of any of these aforementioned properties regarding perception---- reality IS NOT motionless---- it is a proven FACT that the universe is expanding--- all things that ARE are contained within the universe--- therefore, all things are expanding--- hence, reality being a "thing" and all things are expanding--- expansion denotes motion--- So, reality IS IN MOTION --- and to have other perception than THAT can be explained as illusory in MY perceptions !!!

The other way around. Does reality ever stand still? The only thing you can count on is motion and change. Permanence is an illusion, but a useful one.

I suppose that in a way it is, but I think that motion and change are also reality. I could ponder a paradox of time, motion, and reality for hours really...comes from watching too much Star Trek :)

Everything that exists has motion. Perception and perception are purely realitive concepts altogether.

Yes it is. When a person is dreaming they think things are in motion, but when they wake they know the truth. Eternity is still, but "eternity is in love with the productions of time".
